Bring a question. Expect a clear answer.

# Does the evidence answer your question?

Look past a study link. Ask who took part, what they received, and what the study actually measured.

Comparison group

People in a study who receive a different treatment, or a dummy treatment, so results can be compared.

Match the study to the claim

A question to take with you

Was this studied in people like me, for the result I actually want?

A hormone change, a change in body fat, and feeling better are different results. Ask which result the evidence measured.

The older adult studies described below were small and brief; some used a modified relative of sermorelin.

That distinction belongs in the answer, especially when an offer uses broad words such as better or younger.

Children’s growth research has a limited reach

Evidence to keep in view

A childhood study cannot answer an adult question

In the Thorner study published in 1996, children with a growth hormone shortage grew faster during treatment.

It had no comparison group; those taking part were children diagnosed with a shortage, rather than adults hoping for a general boost.

Read the Thorner study summary

Ask for evidence that fits the proposed use now. A real past result still needs the right context.

What the adult studies found

Evidence to keep in view

A raised hormone is not proof of less body fat

The adult studies discussed here lasted at most 16 weeks and included only 10 to 19 people each.

Where body fat was measured, it stayed the same; the Khorram study used a modified form rather than sermorelin itself.

Those short studies did show hormone changes, but they do not establish long-term outcomes.

Ask the sleep question separately

The reviewed sleep-lab studies used a hormone given into a vein, and their summaries do not identify which part of the hormone was used.

In the Khorram study, nightly injections of a modified relative of sermorelin over 16 weeks did not change reported sleep quality.

A question to take with you

What evidence connects this exact product and form to better sleep for someone like me?

Ask to read the source, then ask what it leaves unanswered. You do not need to decode the whole paper to ask about who took part and what changed.

Before a plan begins, ask what would count as a useful change.

Ask how a result would be judged →

This guide helps you question a sermorelin care offer; operating clinics and selling medicines are outside its role.
