Bring a question. Expect a clear answer.

# The visit needs room for a conversation.

Online care and in-person care are settings for an assessment. Ask what happens before, during, and after it.

Telehealth

A medical conversation or assessment carried out at a distance, using a screen, phone, or online exchange.

Choose a setting for the assessment

You can raise the question in an in-person medical visit or ask a licensed telehealth service how it would assess you. Start with your concern, rather than with a demand for sermorelin.

Say what has changed, what bothers you most, and what you hope care could help with. Ask whether that service can assess the problem or would refer you elsewhere.

A question to take with you

If this needs an examination or a test, how will you arrange it?

A form is a start, not the whole answer

As of September 26, 2026, the medical boards’ federation rejects treatment based only on a fixed form that cannot gather enough information for proper care.

Its guidance allows responsive online assessments where the clinician can ask more questions.

That guidance is a model for boards; state law decides the enforceable requirements.

Ask how you can talk back. A place to describe your concern in your own words is more useful than guessing which box comes closest.

Evidence to keep in view

A menu choice is not an assessment

In guidance adopted in May 2026, the medical boards’ federation said choosing a treatment from a menu alone does not meet the care standard.

The guidance also calls for a channel where patients can raise later questions; it is not itself national law.

Plan for care that needs more than a screen

The federation’s policy says a clinician must arrange needed testing or refer for it when the assessment calls for more.

When a physical examination or procedure is needed, its policy also calls for follow-up in person.

Ask how test results get back to the clinician.

Ask who reviews a concern after the visit.

Ask which circumstances would trigger a referral for care in person.

Ask whether follow-up means the same clinician or someone else.

Bring the same short note to either setting: a remote appointment or a visit in person.

This guide helps you question a sermorelin care offer; operating clinics and selling medicines are outside its role.
